Assistant General Treasurer
ASSISTANT TREASURER: Connecticut District Council of the P.A.W., Inc.
FUNCTION
The Assistant Treasurer works with the Treasurer to maintain a precise and up-to-date record of all financial transactions carried out by the organization. The Assistant Treasurer is expected to exercise due diligence and provide transparent and accurate financial reports to the Treasurer and other relevant individuals, as directed.
RESPONSIBILITY
The Assistant Treasurer is responsible for helping to collect all funds owed to the Council, and for safeguarding all Council funds. The Assistant Treasurer is also responsible for assisting the Treasurer to reconcile all financial records, with presenting reports and financial minutes to all officials and the general body.
EXPERIENCE
The Assistant Treasurer must be a member of one of the churches in the Connecticut Diocese and also a member of the Council. They should have a minimum of two years of good standing within their church and the CDC. Additionally, the Assistant Treasurer should possess a basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting and be a dependable and trustworthy individual.
